BUILDING A TRUE SENSE OF BELONGING WITHIN YOUR BUSINESS – ROUND TABLE

Hosted by Mike Smith with Russell Clements & Steve Middleton

Thursday 13th – 12pm

More Information
On Thursday 13th at 1pm we’ll be joined by Russell Clements, non-executive director of several businesses operating within the recruitment sector and former CEO of the SThree group. Russell will be leading a virtual roundtable on culture – ‘Building a true sense of belonging to your business’, a follow up to our Engagement Multiplier session on the new threats to company culture post-COVID.
This roundtable tackles the subject of working arrangements within the Recruitment Industry following the comments made by Goldman Sachs boss David Solomon who labelled remote working as an “aberration”. Despite this, a nation-wide study of employees who were working from home during the UK’s third national lockdown found that 64% of workers want to switch to hybrid working when safe to do so. However, only one in ten believed that their bosses will give them that choice, and less than half think their employer will opt for hybrid working.
Do employees want to continue working from home/ is there now an expectation that this type of working will automatically be granted by employers in the future? We’ll tackle questions like this (and more) at the roundtable which, certainly won’t be short of debate!
As this is expected to be a well-attended session, we have just 10 slots available for non-members.

More Information

You’ve already had a year of nasty, unexpected surprises.  Do you really want more?

Company cultures are hard-pressed to keep up with the huge changes in employees’ expectations of their employers – and the new trends in employee engagement.

With so much changing so quickly, I’m sure like every business owner and leader, you have questions to which you need straightforward answers and solutions – now.

During the webinar, Steve will focus on the four forces that pose the biggest threat to businesses just like yours in 2021:

  • MISALIGNMENT: Rapidly growing misalignment between employers and employees,
  • RESISTANCE: Disconnect around returning to the workplace,
  • MISUNDERSTANDING: Employee expectations have dramatically changed.

Whether your business is growing, been forced to reduce staff numbers or are preparing for the return of furloughed staff, getting this right is critical.
