How can we effectively use video technology during a crisis?
My thinking is that in most cases, a WHOLE bunch of jobs just went on hold. That means that you’ve got a bunch of people who used to spend 80%+ of their time doing delivery with little or nothing to do.
- Focus on a niche
- Most candidate led markets
- Then focus the activity there
A) Using video as a means to contact and activate passive candidates via LinkedIn and Whatsapp!
B) Using video to interview them; if they don’t want to do that, use Hintro to record a video introduction!
C) Distributing that content, daily!
One case study is a customer who has switched focus to activating one gold contract candidate a week, Hinterviewing them, and then distributing that.
So nothing that you wouldn’t be doing in a bad market anyway, only that no one can be reached by landline phone now however human conversations still need processing like all raw materials – utilise video technology to achieve this.

Is to come out the gate at 100mph when the world gets back to normal, so if you can keep the wheels turning, then the goal is a strong stable of high quality, pre-vetted candidates who you can leverage when the time is right. I’d argue that building that library now is the best thing you could be doing.
Bullhorn, and Vincere were due to go live this month, but that’s been delayed a little while.
Access and Salesforce are both in development now, ready by late Summer.
Most customers use Hinterview standalone – one of our key customers has been utilising Hinterview for nearly three years and have never had it integrated, and they get a lot from it.
Whilst integration is good, it is by no means essential!
